What percentage of duck hunters do you think drink alcohol in the duck blind?
I have a sneaking suspicion that less than 10% of the people on here actually duck hunt. You see, I can speak for duck hunting in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas because I have been doing it for 25 years. A lot. It is part of the tradition. I guarantee you that over 50% of Louisiana duck hunters who are of age will have a few drinks in the blind. Do you know how I know this?? Because I duck hunt. The majority of you "experienced", holier than thou, spokes persons for hunters on here don't have a clue what I am talking about. I asked this question not to advocate drinking and hunting (by the way it can be done in a manner that is safe and fun), I asked this question to find out how many true Delta duckhunters we have on here. Not too many. Stay in the dark guys. Myself, I will be have a bud-light in the morning waiting for shooting hours to begin. To each it's own.
Hey look it's o.k. to have a little eye opener in the morning, and then a little shot at mid morning to steady yourself for meetings, and whats it gonna hurt to have a 3 martini lunch. then a little nip to get to clock out time so you can go the the bar with the guys, and a little drink at home to relax before dinner. And no ones going to say anything about a nice wine with your dinner and a good after dinner drink. And everyone has a few while watching that favorite program. and a night cap is expected....But this dam thing of drink drink drink all day has got to stop.
