Sillosocks or Full-Bodies?
I'm beginning to do some field goose hunting, and I'm not interested in spending $300 for a dozen birds. I'm debating whether to go with Sillosock Windsock decoys (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0049528228870a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=sillosock+goose&Ntk=Products&sort=all&Go.y=0&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asort=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&Go.x=0&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1) or Sport Plast's Collapsible Goose Decoys (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0034851227723a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntk=Products&QueryText=sportplast+goose&sort=all&Go.y=0&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&Go.x=0&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1).
The prices are comparable, so I now turn to my most trusted source for answers: You. Thanks, and happy hunting.
The sillosocks weigh less and will be easier to carry. They both look about the same, and the price is comparable. I would use the sillisocks for the wind movement. Or you could toss a coin....
