USMC "hurry up and wait" any military can awnser...?
so I was soposed to DEP in to the United States Marine Corps the first week of April...but about two days ago i got a txt from my recruiter saying that we would have to wait until May because "They" had been halted on enlisting ANYONE? im just curious what is up with that i mean i dont mind the 1 month wait cuz i can drop even more Lbs and get way below max for meps just curious if its really the USMC stoping enlistments for the month or if my recruiters other recruits are just slacking and hes pushing everyone back? (each recruiter can only process in two people per month)
All of the services are having no problems meeting their recruiting goals. The Coast Guard has stopped signing new contracts until later in the year, while the Marine Corps has just suspended signing new folks for a month or more. The Air Force is on the verge of raising ASVAB scores to make it harder to enlist.
Your recruiters aren't slacking - they are just following orders. There are too many Marines right now - and they need to slow up how many they bring in.
Relax, and get used to hurrying up and waiting.
